New Era Releases “Thor” Inspired Caps, Ditches The Creativity

In honor of the release of Thor, the upcoming Marvel comic book series turned blockbuster movie, New Era has released several new caps inspired by the comic book series. There's about seven caps featured in the collection and although it's a pretty clever idea they could have upped the ante on the creativity. Aside from the metallic leather cap there isn't one that stands out in my opinion. They all either feature the words "Thor," Thor's hammer, or some comic book inspired graphic on them.

And I'm really shocked that they didn't feature a hat similar to Thor's helmet. That's probably what they were going for with the metallic cap. If so, they should have gone all out and added some horns. How awesome would that have been? But they didn't so better luck next time New Era.
