Ma Dukes Orchestra Pays Tribute to Dilla on “Take Notice” (Video & Download)

Since all great artists only seem to get the respect their due once they're gone, I guess in a weird way you could consider the recent outpouring of support for legendary producer J. Dilla a compliment to this greatness (though I'm sure he'd rather have enjoyed it in life). First came the must download "Best of Dilla" mixtape, and now the Suite for Ma Dukes Orchestra has crafted a dopely symphonic version of JD's "Take Notice". Recorded during a recent VTech & Mochilla 3 event titled 'Timeless Showcase', which also featured performances from Talib Kweli, Dwele, Common and more. this version of "Take Notice" is everything Dilla deserved.
