Lil Wayne & Maino Are No Wu-Tang But They’re About Their “CREAM” (Listen & Download)

Prior to listening to Lil Wayne & Maino's "CREAM" I expected a high-energy song with punchlines for days, but instead "CREAM" is pretty forgettable and almost generic sounding. Instead you've got a lot of bragging from Maino and a subpar verse from Wayne, it's almost as if he's trying entirely too hard to be clever. Take for instance this line: "Bitch I'm getting paid, I'm on my Bernie Madoff." Really Weezy? Well, if that's the case getting paid will eventually lead to a 150-year sentence in prison so good luck with that. Just refer to Donald Trump next time. And I'm just gonna leave the tragically hilarious "Ya'll nigga's don't want beef like vegans" line alone.

Maino does get props for both a Notorious B.I.G. and Andre 3000 mention in his first verse. And the beat almost makes you forget about the cars, cash, and women Maino constantly boasts about in his two verses. "CREAM" will appear on Maino's "The Day After Tomorrow" when it's released later this year. But with a title like "The Day After Tomorrow" don't be too surprised if it's pushed back to "2012."
