I get a lot of music sent me way and I immediately divide it into three piles: f**k no, maybe and f**l yes. When this new King Magnetic “The Trifecta” joint first hit my eardrums (shout out to Culture VI for sliding it over), it was about five seconds before I put it in the f**k yes pile.
The cut’s slowly grinding beat was produced by Astronote and features verses from the always ill Joell Ortiz and Tug McRaw, who may just have one of my favorite rap names in the game right now (who else has a name that’s a hilarious country music pun?). Long story short, if you like that gritty, lyrical NY sound, you’ll be fiending for this.
