Kid Cudi Accidentally Releases My Favorite Cudi Track “To Da Top” (Listen & Download)

Before I get three thousand "why you hatin?" emails let me emphasize that all in all I like Kid Cudi, I just don't feel his music on the "this is the greatest thing ever!" level so many others seem to. Probably because I don't smoke very much. Mostly it just feels like a lot of the time he's trying too hard to be crazy - so that's probably why I'm digging "To Da Top" so much.

On "Top" all the short movie collabs with Hollwood stars and epic storylines are cut away - it doesn't get much more basic than Cudi beatboxing and writing lyrics on the intro. Add in a beat that really brings me back to the Kanye "Late Registration" days and some everyday man flows from Cudi and this is easily one of the most easily enjoyable Mescudi tracks I've heard in a minute.

Just a loosie (so far) unattached to a larger project, although the track's got to be relatively new given the Cray reference.
