I've tried very hard to become the slightest fan of Cudi's music. Even with 'Ye on his tracks, Cudi fails me. His out of tune, rambling, mildy-lyrical verses never impress me. Maybe if I dropped, popped, or blew pounds of trees daily he'd start to sounds good to me. But that will never happen. Hey, he's real popular in Santa Barbara. Wonder why?... <--sarcasm, of course. |

These songs target his audience (pot smokers) but he needs to up his game. Right now MOTM2 is not on my list of albums to buy. The first one was dope as hell but it's too repetitive and only the weed heads are liking his new music. |

Last time I checked pot doesn't make a person feel like they are on a acid trip. Kid Cudi is just a person that you either relate to or you don't. When I first heard MOTM I was like wtf, and thought it was trash. After a few listens I started to love it more and more. |

I like both of the songs here. They're not really special, but they're not bad either. Mr. Rager was my favorite of the two. I have liked most of the leaks from MOTM2 so far, but it will be nowhere near the first album. |

Seems like we're all pretty much agreed. I feel like Cudi's first album was a bit of a phenomenon, and he just hadn't shown that he has the musical depth to flip that phenomenon into a lasting career. Could he end up as the M. Night Shamalyan of hip-hop? (Ground breaking first project, can't follow up.) |

Both of the streams play Mr. Rager. Or is it just me? |

Ha Nathan signs did pretty good though... But yeah i agree with everyone else. Wylin Cause I'm Young sounds like a bad attempt at a get lite song (which is bad anyways). Mr. Rager is better but I really hope it isn't the best he's got for his album. I need a hit like day & night for me to buy Man on the Moon 2. |
