Kendrick Lamar’s “Hiiigher Power” Video is F**king Dope (Watch)

We don’t post a lot of music videos around these parts because, frankly, there aren’t a lot of good music videos out there. From the backpackers to the swag set, they’re all just slightly different versions of the same thing: guy rapping in his locale, maybe a pretty girl or two, end of story. But Kendrick Lamar’s new video for his “the letter I” enhanced single “HiiiPoWeR” is one some other shit.

Sure it’s not a Hype Williams video, there aren’t any stunning special effects, but there’s no way you’re turning away once you start watching. Plus, I can’t remember the last time I went through a flick frame by frame looking for subliminals. By the way I have no idea what those subliminals mean, but I’ve still read them about ten times now trying to figure it out.
