I know I'm not in the minority around these parts when I say that I'd rather hear a truly honest, truly personal and truly original song than some hot track with a hot producer and a hot guest verse. In that spirit, I'll let keb0 himself explain this one:

"'On the Otherside' is produced by Dustin Orange, and fuck it I won't beat around the bush.. it's a personal record observing the inner chronicles of a relationship in the reflective tense from my point of view leading all the way to a tragic twist... the discovery of that special woman you care about has a terminal illness... cancer."

Yeah the song's depressing as fuck, but there's plenty of feel good hip-hop out there. Ideally, music should represent the full range of our lives, and so props to keb0 for touching a subject that most rappers would be too scared to even think of rhyming about.
