Joe Budden let quite a lot off his chest with the release of the very candid "More Of Me" last week and the Slaughterhouse rapper continues to delve deep into his feelings on his newest record "Momma Said." As the title of the song alludes, "Momma Said" touches on Budden's relationship with his mom and also the turbulent one with his father.

The first minute of the song is interesting to say the least and by "interesting" I do mean "why in the hell is Joe Budden using that God awful auto-tune?' My guess is Budden may have been trying to set an ominous, The Weeknd-like vibe for the song with his auto-tuned singing, but I could have personally done without. The high-point of "Momma Said" unsurprisingly comes with the rapper's revealing verse. It's no secret that Budden's got a way with words and he packs a punch with each of them on this latest record despite the song's unimpressive production.
