Holy 90’s Nostalgia! This Jaden Smith “Hello” Video Is Incredibly DopePosted by Danielle Harling on 03/26/13 | Filed under Videos, JADEN |
It's definitely an interesting time in Hip-Hop when teen rappers are putting out records that are more creative and well put together than dudes twice their age. With the release of his "Hello" music video, Jaden Smith (stage name JADEN) just became the latest teen rapper to release a surprisingly dope record that boasts a vintage, 90's sound.
"Hello" serves as a visual introduction to Will Smith's rappin', actin' offspring, who makes his way through the streets of New York City while dropping bars and offering a friendly hello to passerby's. There's also the occasional paparazzo, something you definitely don't see in your standard video from a Hip-Hop up-and-comer.
And since we're on the topic of videos, check out The Pharcyde's "Drop" video, which Nathan S. pointed out is somewhat similar to JADEN's "Hello" visuals.
