How many times do I have to tell you people that North Carolina is turning out dope hip-hop like Charlie Sheen turns out insane quotes. While J. Cole, King Mez, Jones Andrews and other RefinedHype regulars are busy doing their home state proud, I'm happy to introduce a new Carolinian to our pages,
J. Capri. A young rapper with an unique ability to swagger as hard as he dreams, Capri's premiering his brand new single, "
Empowered", produced by
Johnny Juliano, right here, right now.
"Empowered" is the first offering from Capri's upcoming "Face in the Crowd" mixtape, featuring the aforementioned Mez as well as Charlie Smarts, Heather Victoria and more and set to drop soon via RefinedHype. In the meantime, keep an eye out for another release coming next week.
"This is the beginning so / if it's just starting imagine how it's ending..."
