Life hasn’t been easy for Cormega. After the Bed-Stuy born, Queensbridge raised rapper witnessed his mother’s murder at the age of four he found solace in hip-hop, but a lengthy incarceration and protracted battles with major labels and rappers (most notably Nas) left his tales of the streets frustratingly unheard. Now on the independent grind with his own Legal Hustle label, Cormega is back and dropping bombs alongside the legendary DJ Premier on his new track “Make It Clear.” If you like that old-school east coast street sound, I’ve got some ish for you.
Cormega’s upcoming album “Born and Raised” is currently slated to drop October, 20. Stay tuned for more.
