Making dope hip-hop really isn't that hard. All you need is to get a dope instrumental, find a dope emcee - or better yet, several dope emcees, get them all to record something dope and boom, you've got some dopeness. The formula's actually that simple, but the execution can be incredibly complex. So first and foremost, props to Odd Couple for their execution of "Average Guy".

A new production duo, Odd Couple really put together a beat that's equal parts soul and energy, never an easy task. And with emcees like Emilio Rojas, Torae and Uno Hype all throwing down, you know the lyrics and flow are going to be above par.
