Drekidd Shocks the World on “Muhammad Ali” (Listen & Download)

While claims that Muhammad Ali was "the first rapper" are interesting but misguided, there's no doubt that the man could spit with the best of them, and that he had more swagger than any rapper who ever lived. So it's only fitting that L.A. native Drekidd, who we last heard from on his "City of Champs" FreEP, pays tribute to the man on new release, the aptly-titled "Muhammad Ali".

Produced by his constant production partner Heart Beat, true to form "Ali" is a cut that simultaneously flows smoothly and stings with lyrical jabs in sections. Nicely done sir, nicely done. If only more artists would look to Ali for their inspiration the game would be a lot better off.
