I am here to talk about #3.
Let me say first, that this is not a personal diss. I have never met Drake and I probably will someday. So Drake, if you read this and take offense, its business bro. You rap, and I am in the business of pointing interesting shit out for the masses to change their opinions too.

Drake, I hope your album is a classic. I hope that when the album drops I instantly retract ALL of my statements. I hope that I put my foot in my mouth as I listen to greatness on each track.
However, after all the crap that we Hip Hop listeners went through over the last year, I feel like it is almost OWED to us. Drake, you OWE us an amazing album.
Already many of you have split into a few very angry factions. I will address each of them equivalently.
Other artist’s saying that Drake does not owe me anything.
No, he does. Let us not forget that you and Drake are Music Artists…and you perform a service to an extent. So, to an extent, you owe your listeners something for listening to you. Even Wayne admitted that he was going to go harder because his FANS had been screaming for better.
And of course, I don’t have to buy his music and he is not making it for ME. You are right he isn’t. However, if you are going to take that mentality, you might as well declare every music artist God and erect large shrines to them in residential centers all over the world.

No, I’m not. I am not mindlessly parading up and down Time Square, nude, and with a guitar screaming “DRAKE SUXXX”! Hate is when you dislike what you do not understand; while I do not have the best grasp of the music industry, I think it is good enough to say that if he does not drop a CLASSIC album, he failed.
And another thing, what is with Hip Hop’s obsession with “hate” anyway? Since when is negative criticism considered hate?
How am I, Jacques “Nigga I’m the Shit” Morel, considered a “hater” for presenting a contradictory opinion to yours? If anything, would you not rather have “hate” then “love”? Because “love” creates stagnation and doesn’t promote growth and “hate” does.
If it wasn’t for “hate” then Lil Wayne would have not dropped “No Ceilings”.
So, please, take the ignorance elsewhere.
Since you are smarter than the above two factions, the rest of you just want to know WHY he owes us a classic album.
Let me explain: Over the past year I feel like Drake went from a humble come up from Toronto, to rapping about sitting in his room staring at Grammys without winning any.
Or coming to New York to “touch the city” and rapping mediocrity off of a Blackberry.
Or not having sufficient eye contact in most of your videos.
But even THAT isn’t the reason the album should be dope. No, actually it is because you received $4 mill after a MIXTAPE (which I didn’t think was that dope to begin with, his older stuff was much better) in a time when thousands of other doper underground emcee’s starve.
Drake came into this industry with a silver spoon in his mouth, grew into a spoiled child who received everything on a silver plate over the past year, and even was nominated for a Grammy.
(Understandable. “Best I Ever Had” was HUGE…but we all know Cudi deserved that award.)
So now, after dedicating all this to you, I feel like you, Drake, owe us an amazing album. There are a lot of other people that deserve what you have, so act accordingly.
Stop stuntin’ on us. Rapping like you are eight albums deep isn’t cool…to be frank it is terribly ostentatious.
Phew.
However, I will say, that if Drake flops…we can say buh-bye to the labels. Four million dollars is a lot of cash to lose.
But he’s not going to flop…right? He can’t. He’s Drake!
