Quick Hit: Hate Hip-Hop, J Dilla & Charity? Don’t Come to DJBooth’s Concert

I know this is going to sound shocking, but the mothership isn't actually all about making money. Sure I only travel in a gold-plated Bentley, which I make a team of interns push (gas is expensive), but we also just actually love hip-hop and giving back to the community. That's why we've teamed up with the J. Dilla Foundation to put on on a dope concert to promote musical education.

Going down the evening of May 10, at New York City venue S.O.B.'s, the event will showcase the talents of Skyzoo, Thee Tom Hardy with 9th Wonder, Gilbere Forte' and DJ Mell Starr. Admission is free, with a suggested donation going towards the J. Dilla Foundation's ongoing efforts to keep music alive in our schools. Must be 21+ to attend. You should be there, you know, unless you hate quality hip-hop and helping people.
