DJ Critical Hype The Art of Guru Blends Mixtapes Cover

After the untimely death of street rap pioneer Guru everyone and their mother rushed to put out their "tribute" to the Gang Starr founder, a rush that had more than a carried with it more than a slight whiff of opportunism. Not so for RefinedHype's brother in hype DJ Critical Hype, who's taken the time to craft a thoughtfully dope ode to Guru with his "The Art of the Guru Blends" mixtape. A project that Hype describes as " Basically a bunch of his classics over other classic beats," this is finally the work life-long Guru fans have been waiting to hear. R.I.P. Keith Elam. You will be missed.

Almost Forgotten	R.I.P. Guru Damn, it's like listening to "remixed" 2pac tracks.. It's a genius at work, but can it ever really compare to the originals? On a related note, I wonder how long Solar is gonna let all of his sites stay hacked. Mad props to the hacker tho, he put him on blast to fuckin Jupiter

Nathan S.	Honestly, I'm trying to stay out of all this Solar/Guru ish. I prefer to remember the man for his music, not all this rumor and drama.
