DJ Burn One Smokes Some “Joints” (Mixtape Listen & Download)

You know what's a little weird? A lot of the time I'll write these intros like a third party when I was actually involved in the creation of the project - I don't know, I guess it's an attempt at some sort of objective journalism. Well, I just don't feel like being unbiased right now, so screw it. Long story short, from Yelawolf to Freddie Gibbs I recently realized that a lot of my favorite new tracks had a DJ Burn One tag. We know a lot of the same people so I got his number, we chopped it up, he's a good guy and I said we should do a project together. He said he actually had this "Joints" mixtape in the works and boom. Here we are. And now here's the objective write-up:

After producing Rittz’ Smash Potatoes exclusive freestyle, Freddie Gibb’s Do Wrong and too many more dope records to name here, DJBooth thought it was only right to team up with DJ Burn One for his new mixtape Joints, a showcase of the Southern beatsmith’s best work. Joints is presented by DJBooth and Ballers Eve. All production is, of course, handled by Burn One, with Freddie Gibbs, Rittz, Young Buck, Johnny Spanish and more putting in work on the mic.

If you're in the mood for some of that Southern smoke ride music I (obviously) highly recommend check it out. Enjoy. Download link and mixtape preview are below the tracklist:
