It’s a Dipset Famly Reunion! Cam’ron, Jim Jones & Juelz Santana “Salute” (Listen & Download)

(Props to me for tracking down this incredibly awkward photo. WTF?)

And now for the moment everyone some people have been waiting for, most will find mildly interesting and the rest won't give a f**k about...a Dipset reunion! After hitting their peak in 2003/2004 with the release of Cam's "Come Home With Me" and group project "Diplomatic Immunity", both of which were huge smashes, The Diplomats inevitably fell apart after Jim Jones and Mr. All Pink Everything took to squabbling over money and power.

Now, five some odd years later, the major players - Cam'ron, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana - have reunited for "Salute", a simultaneously dope and incredibly aggravating track, the bulk of the aggravation coming from an atrocious beat from Soulja Boy affiliate araabMuzik. Really guys? This is the beat you decided to go with for the big reunion? I'm now officially a little bit excited for more from Dipset, I guess, maybe.

On a related note, if you had told me in '03 that Jim Jones would emerge as the most successful Diplomat (Santana's apparently incapable of putting out an album and Cam's no longer the force he once was) I would have said you were crazy. And yet, here we are. Also, shout out to Dipset member Freekey Zekey, whose man boobs are nowhere to be found.

Salute the track right now below. Or don't. I can't really blame you either way.
