We all know October 8, is the release date for Pusha-T’s "My Name Is My Name", but there is another album dropping that day from a lesser-known yet equally hype deserving emcee, Danny Brown. Many are already hip to the Danny Brown game but there are plenty who have yet to be turned onto the polarizing emcee; they will be woken up from their deep slumber very soon. This album has had quite the journey, from name changes to delays (it was close to never getting released at all), to album art controversy, but finally, all that can be pushed aside in favor of the music.

What does Danny have in store for us on "Old"? Well, I have no idea. I haven’t had a chance to listen yet and I have heard so many things from so many different people, I am not quite sure what to expect. Danny is one of the most polarizing emcees in the game today. Some will love his unique, unabashed style while some will likely find it too over the top and unpolished, but one thing is for sure, with a  unique style and some nice features (A$AP Rocky, Freddie Gibbs, Schoolboy Q, and Ab-Soul among others) Danny will definitely make a splash.
