This Steve Aoki, Kid Cudi & Travis Barker “Cudi The Kid” Video Is Visually Dope (Video Breakdown)

With a trio like Kid Cudi, Travis Barker, and Steve Aoki you can't help but expect a dope video for their song "Cudi The Kid" and they pull off just that with help from director Jam Sutton. It's honestly one of the most visually stunning music videos I've seen in quite sometime. I was a little disappointed about Kid Cudi not being featured in the video, but that doesn't seem to hurt the final product at all.



0:02 – Nice headdress bro…seriously. As tragic as it may sound I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few of these floating around H&M in the near future.

0:06 – Braveheart face?

0:17 – I’m assuming these kids are all supposed to be the younger versions of Steve Aoki, Kid Cudi, and Travis Barker.

0:41 – Is that the devil or a Jabbawockee?

0:54 – And now we have a pre-emo Kid Cudi.

1:08 – A creepy clown on the side of a deserted road is probably the fifth scariest thing you’ll ever see in life.

1:16 – Now this is interesting.

1:19 – The visuals in this video are pretty damn amazing.

1:23 – And just when you thought the creepy clown couldn’t get any creepier they then set him on fire.

1:37 – I have absolutely no idea what the meaning behind Steve Aoki thrashing his hair in front of a swinging pendulum is, but it looks very dope.

1:56 – It wouldn’t be right if they didn’t include one of the nuns from “Sister Act.”

2:30 – Travis Barker is trying to hypnotize us…

3:03 – Why is little Travis Barker so little?

3:17 – These guys must have had a very interesting childhood.

3:31 – I just realized the grown-up Kid Cudi isn’t in this video. Kind of a bummer.

4:00 – Nice. It’s great to see that there’s still some creativity left when it comes to music videos.
