I was perusing ye olde Twitter today when I came across a new FreEP from Allen Stone. Well fucks yeah then, Allen Stone's dope. Maybe I should even post it on...holy shit, wait. Have I never posted Allen Stone before? Fuck. I need to correct that situation immediately. Let's quickly catch the fuck up.

Right off the bat, obviously the first thing anyone notices about Stone is that he looks like he's the kind of guy who plans his year around Comic Con. You can't deny it,there's a definite "sweet baby jesus, that nerdy white boy can really sing soul" element to his appeal. But once you get past the initial surprise of hearing that voice come out of that person, you'll find some just straight up quality soul music.




This post obviously isn't going to help up my (already non-existent) street cred, but fuck it. As much as I obviously love hip-hop, in order to maintain my sanity I need to listen to other music. And when I do, Allen Stone's up there on my playlist.
