Bruno Mars It's Better If You Don't Understand

After the success of B.o.B.'s "Nothin' On You", and Travis McCoy's "Billionaire", the interwebs are starting to talk about the guy who provides the hook on both, and by talk I mostly mean asking, "who the hell is Bruno Mars?" Long story short, Mars was born in Hawaii, is one-half of the hilariously named production group The Smeezingtons and is using his sudden thrust into the spotlight to prove that he's much more than a hook man on his new cut "The Other Side". On "Other Side" Bruno brings on Cee-Lo for some singing duties - please start rhyming again Lo. Please. - plus hooks up a verse from his buddy B.o.B. Despite all that star power however it's still Mars that shines brightest. I have to say, I'm impressed.

"Other Side" is off Mars' upcoming EP "It's Better If You Don't Understand", available on iTunes May 11. Oh, and this is unconfirmed, but I'd be shocked if Cee-Lo didn't also contribute on the production side. This track sounds like something off the first Gnarls Barkley album.
