B.o.B & Lil Wayne Are Floating On “Strange Clouds” (Listen)

This lead single off of B.o.B's upcoming album really seemed to come out of nowhere. He doesn't even have a name for his sophomore album yet, but regardless of timing the song is out and I will gladly take it. "Strange Clouds" boasts B.o.B's usual bouncy, high-energy sound and the rapper pulls double duty as he provides the song with two verses and a hook. And surprise, surprise we've also got a guest verse from none other than Lil Wayne on "Strange Clouds."

The fact that Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter IV" has gone on to sell close to a million copies shows that a guest verse from Weezy can do wonders. But I have to say that Lil Wayne might really want to think about stepping up his guest verse game just a little bit. Because his random yelling on "Strange Clouds" was a little more entertaining than his verse on "Strange Clouds." "Blue jeans, I'm faded?" "You hot as a igloo?" Why not "hot as ice?" Oh wait, never mind you already used that oh so clever line. These are not the punchlines of a man who's gone on to sell a million copies of his album in less than a month. No siree.
