By interweb terms it's been forever (and eva eva? and eva eva?) since we've heard new material from Big K.R.I.T., and with good reason. Krizza dropped "Return of 4Eva" and then locked himself in the studio to record his debut Def Jam album and, unlike say Lil B, the man can't just knock out a free song every ten minutes. Still, sweet baby jesus I was stoked when some new K.R.I.T. featuring Yelawolf dropped today, and even more stoked when it turned out to be doper than some uncut Malaysian white tiger. "Happy Birthday Hip-Hop".

Not only is the song ill, it's got a cool back story: "This song was recorded at Tree Sound Studios the night that Big K.R.I.T. and Yelawolf first met a little over a year ago. After K.R.I.T. and Yela had a conversation about their influences and their shared respect for each other, this record became the end result. Hip Hop reborn in the South."
