After that John Legend and The Roots track I thought we might as well continue to old school tracks flipped into dope new track trend and roll with Aloe Blacc and his brilliant "Femme Fatale", a cover of The Velvet Underground's classic 1967 cut of the same name. Here Aloe and producer Truth+Soul take the original's soft, ballad rock approach and gives it a distinctive soul foundation, injecting the cut with some real emotion and heartbreak Just a dope, dope track. My recommendation is to put Aloe on that list of artists that you automatically listen to anything new from. "Femme Fatale" is from Aloe's upcoming album "Good Things", coming off Stones Throw at some point in the future.
