50 Cent Attempts To Bring That Old Thing Back On “What Up Gangsta Pt. 2” (Listen & Download)

I think it's safe to say that there's no way present-day 50 Cent could possibly top his 2003 track "What Up Gangsta." That being said I didn't have the highest expectations for "What Up Gangsta Part 2." Why release a sequel to one of your hottest songs when you're no longer one of the hottest rappers around? It's certainly not the smartest of moves.

Thankfully though "What Up Gangsta Part 2" isn't awful. I really, really like the production for the updated version of the song and was relieved when the song did switch up after about 20 seconds. I would have been pretty disappointed if 50 Cent chose to rap over the original "What Up Gangsta" beat. I gotta admit 50 Cent really threw me off with all that gangsters and Star-Spangled Banner mumbo jumbo towards the beginning of the song, but lyrically the song does pick up later.

Also, I've got $2.35 for anyone who can give me a decent explanation of why 50 Cent would use the skull scene from "Hamlet" on his cover art.
